Art & Design 101: AW 15/16 Sneak Peek

Posted by Heidi Denessen on

Holy Moly it's been busy around here!
I've been skurrying around (like a squirrel gathering nuts for winter) getting all the last minute pieces together to shoot the A/W Collection. And I just completed an awesome 5 days vending at Wanderlust Whistler!
Phew, July was Full!
I though today I would give you a little preview of the collection that will be in store by early September.
The photo shoot yesterday was TONS of fun.
Anastasia Chomlack rocked the photography as she always does. Sara Laking (a beautiful photographer in her own right) was my spectacular model who kept us giggling all afternoon. And a shout out to Erika Swanstrom who worker her magic with Sara's make-up and hair.
My living room was taken over with lighting, backdrops, and all kinds of props.
I can't wait to launch the line, but until then here are a few snippets of what's on it's way.(you click through the slides with the arrows on your keyboard)

"The 2nd generation of Cardi Wraps in the new Branch print. I photographed these trees out my back window last winter." "The Inukshuk Black Tusk Skirt will give you the POWER!
88% Recycled Poly, 12% Spandex.
Printed with my painting of the view from the top of Whistler. "
"You are going to adore how these look and feel when you pull them on. Dress em up or down.
The new Flaming Feather Jogger."
"Top it off with a Pom-Pom." "Sara getting into goddess mode.
Yesterday was such a blast shooting this collection.
I feel so lucky to have an a-maz-ing team of creative ladies to work with.
Check out Anastasia's photography HERE
Those are just a few pieces - so stay tuned for when they all hit the shop, sooon....
In the mean time take as many breaks as you can to soak up all that August has to offer.
I'm off to spend a few quiet days with my boys.
Have a lovely weekend,
with lots of love,
