The Create Workshop - Adults 16+ - Jan/Feb 2024

Our grandmas sat down and did needlepoint, knitting and quilting together for a reason! Creativity and community are good for the soul.

This workshop gives you the space, time and support to make art, and is more about togetherness and process than the the end product. 

It’s bookclub without the books or homework! 

The studio is intended to foster creativity and encourage experimentation in an atmosphere of exchange, conversation and freedom of expression.

No need to set up on your dining room table alone. Instead, join the company of fellow makers and dive into the art project that has been brewing in your brain.

Whether you're an experienced artist looking for inspiration or a beginner eager for guidance, this workshop is the perfect place. 

I will provide support and suggestions on the tools, techniques and other resources needed to make your drawing, painting, collage or sculpture. 

At the beginning of each session, together, we will work through a detailed plan to map out your art project of choice. 

Bubbly water, popcorn and music will be provided along with work tables, chairs, some basic supplies and an awesome atmosphere. Once you have planned your project you will bring your own supplies specific for that. 

And don’t fret if you don’t know what art to make! If all you have is a special object, photo or memory, that is more than enough. Come on over and we will get you going.

Everyone 16+ is welcome.
